5 WAYS TO EARN MONEY ONLINE FROM HOME (LEGIT!)



It has been almost three months since MCO started and most of us has been financially affected by this pandemic. Some has started an online business to improve their income. There are also some of us who haven’t figured out what to do to enhance our finance. You’re at the right place if you are lazy but still want to have few cash coming into your pockets. So, let’s jump into 5 ways to earn money online from home.

1) Answering Surveys

You must be surprised to know that answering surveys could actually give you money. Many companies out there are looking for public opinions and reward them for doing so. You could be paid real cash or rewarded with cash vouchers.

For example, you can try signing up with Rakuten Insight. It is convenient to use as you will be notified via email as soon as there are new surveys available for you to answer. Usually, there will be 2-3 surveys a week that will reward you with EPoints which can later be redeemed for gift vouchers and/or cash. You can get Boost app voucher, Grab voucher, Lazada voucher and more.

I’ve been doing this for 7 months already and have redeemed RM50 Boost vouchers so far – just by answering surveys!

2) Become a dropshipper

I bet you have heard about ‘dropship’ before. Being a dropship is a legit way to improve your income and is easy to start too. Key advantage here is no – or low – capital is needed for you to start selling the products. Also, you don’t have to keep, pack or ship the products to the customers. You only have to promote and collect orders before forwarding them to the suppliers. No inventory needed.

There are many stores – mostly online – that open for anyone to do dropshipping. You can just search one online – via Instagram, Twitter or Facebook – and start promoting on your social media accounts. Usually, you can earn RM1-RM20 per product sold, well, it is up to the suppliers, of course. 

This seems easy but the hardest part is – perhaps – trying to find a product to sell. But once you do, it will be a smooth journey in shaa Allah.


3) Start a blog

Apart from reading newspapers, people nowadays opt for websites and blogs as their medium for reading. Few years back, blogging was a trend and everyone were doing it but it has hyped down ever since. Though, people never stop reading blogs! So, now could be a great timing to start one. Also, it is very legit and not that difficult to start.

Disclaimer: I’m not a great blogger to begin with. In fact, I started doing this out of passion. If you’re someone who loves to write, share stories or facts, and want to earn some money, you can try blogging. There are also few things to check before you actually started a blog. I will share about this in another post. I will also share how we can actually earn money from blogging.


4) Become a YouTuber

I have noticed a very obvious change in this platform ever since the whole world been affected with Covid-19. Many people have started creating a YouTube channel as it is a great platform to earn money – only if you have reached the requirements for your channel to be monetized. 

Here’s a hint for those who’s interested. To get your channel monetized, you have to get at least 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch time hours in a year. That is a huge number (for me laa) but if you’re a public figure or your social media accounts are flooded with followers, it should be no problem! Well, you can see many instafamous becoming a YouTuber since MCO started hihi.

Before starting a YouTube channel, discover your niche first – what your channel is about, what kind of videos you want to share. Lots of pro gamers have started gaming channel, and they also got a huge number of subscribers! You can actually start with any type of videos and as long as there are audiences and viewers, you're good to go. 


5) Start investing

If you’re lazy to do all these four, investing is perfect for you! There are few investing platforms that you can start with. But make sure to learn a bit before you start. There are also online investments that you can try. For example, Wahed Invest which I, too, invested in few months ago. I will also talk about this as a first-hand user in another post >,<

The very stable and safe investment platform you can start ‘growing’ your money is Amanah Saham Bumiputera(ASB). You can learn more about ASB from Google and its own website because I don’t have much knowledge on this hehe.

Tips : Low risk investment + low income. High risk investment = high income.

There are actually many other ways to earn money online. But these are the ones I actually did (except for YouTube hehe). So, you can start with whichever you are interested with.
